Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi pada Lansia dengan Kasus Frozen Shoulder Di RSUD Hadji Boejasin: Studi Kasus
Abstract
Frozen Shoulder hanya digunakan untuk penyakit yang sudah diketahui dengan baik yang ditandai oleh rasa nyeri dan kekakuan yang progresif pada bahu yang berlangsung 18 bulan. Bila hal itu terjadi dan berlangsung terus akan mengakibatkan perlengketan dan pengerutan kapsul sendi dan bertambah nyeri. Adanya rasa nyeri dapat mengganggu dalam melakukan aktivitas fungsional sehari-hari, baik pada area perawatan diri (self care), produktifitas (productivity), dan pemanfaatan waktu luang (leisure). Penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah studi kasus pasien lansia dengan usia 65 tahun dengan keluhan seperti nyeri, spasme, penurunan kekuatan otot, keterbatasan semua gerakan bahu dan penurunan kemampuan fungsional. Manajemen fisioterapi yang di berikan Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Ultra sound diathermy (USD), Pendulum exercise, Streching exercise dan Strengthening exercise. Setelah dilakukan terapi sebanyak 6 kali di dapatkan hasil dengan penurunan tingkat nyeri, penurunan spasme, peningkatan kekuatan otot, peningkatan LGS dan peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pada bahu yang diukur dengan Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI). Kombinasi pemberian TENS, USD, Pendulum exercise, Streching exercise dan Strengthening exercise efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul akibat frozen shoulder
