Belitung Corridor Arrangement Strategic Plan based on Green-Blue Space Development
Abstract
In Banjarmasin, Belitung corridor has a significant value in trade and service sectors as the node of socio-economic development in Banjarmasin Barat and Banjarmasin. Across this corridor, lies Belitung and Duyung rivers which are an important part of Banjarmasin’s historical value. There are so many positive and negative changes in this corridor, therefore it needs spatial control. This research aimed to develop strategy for arranging the local identity of Belitung corridor through green-blue plan. Triangulation method was used to construct the value and problems found in the corridor, which were analyzed using SWOT analysis. Some strategies were composed which were: developing trade and service sector as the main point of Belitung corridor, developing Duyung river neighborhood as a sustainable tourism area by emphasizing green and blue space, developing its identity using existing landmarks, and balancing green belt-city park as green space and river revitalization as the blue space.
